Education Innovation Laboratory
The Education Innovation Laboratory (financed by The Ministry of Education and Science, and implemented by Riga Business School) is launching three programs in collaboration with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) specifically through The Abdul Latif Jameel World Education Lab (J-WEL).
The main objective of the Education Innovation Laboratory is to to increase the capacity of the leadership of the institutions of higher education, private sector, and public administration in the management of international cooperation, research, and innovations. Through these programs, leaders will gain competencies in the following areas: innovation ecosystem development, innovation planning, strategic university governance, digitalization initiatives, multi-stakeholder cooperation management, and much more. Throughout these programs, there will be many opportunities for collaboration between the programs’ participants, as these individuals come from various spheres of influence, as well as for goal-oriented networking to bring these innovative ideas to life. The end goal is to see that these leaders will be well-equipped, and to see different projects and initiatives become implemented in Latvia to support the higher education system as well as different areas within this society.
