The Professional MBA at Riga Business School is the oldest and most prestigious MBA program in Latvia, and is designed for high-performing managers who lead teams and transform businesses in a technology-based world.

Executive MBA

EMBA Program equips C-suite managers with the skills, tools & confidence they need to accelerate their business, and lead by example. The program is created in collaboration with the State University of New York at Buffalo (USA).

Education USA Information Center is the only official information source in Latvia about educational institutions in the United States of America.

Alumni Association

The RBS Alumni Association strengthens our community and provides opportunities for networking with alumni of different programs and years. Today our alumni are actively involved in the school’s life and play a significant role in shaping RBS development.

Bachelor of Business Administration

The Business Administration program was created in collaboration with BI Norwegian Business School and University at Buffalo, USA. This program ensures a solid degree in international business with a distinct global approach and a knowledge on how to build socially responsible business.

Partnership with ACAMS

RBS, in close cooperation with the Finance Latvia Association, has established partnership with ACAMS. Under the partnership agreement, we offer training to prepare individuals for examinations to become ACAMS Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and Certified Global Sanctions Specialist.

University Preparation Center

The center offers various programs to help ambitious candidates prepare for their future studies. Courses are on topics such as Math Reasoning, and Pre University English to prepare for undergraduate studies in English and preparation courses to achieve higher results in Latvian State Exams in Math and English.

Mini MBA

Mini MBA program is a project-based program, focusing on the company’s path to digitization, use of technology, improvement of production processes and products to digital transformation. The participation fee is funded by LIAA for businesses registered in Latvia.

Bachelor of IT Leadership

Recognizing the current job market trends and a shortage of qualified IT project managers, RBS established an IT management program. Our graduates will become leaders with critical and analytical thinking skills, who can make decisions, manage a team, implement creative technology projects, and deal with routine work.

Faculty training at Buffalo

RBS organizes the national educators’ program in cooperation with the University at Buffalo (UB) in the USA. Educators from Latvian higher education institutions spend 4️ months studying IT courses, student project management, and interdisciplinary academic approach at the UB .

MIT J-WEL Program

Riga Technical University (RTU), representing Latvia’s higher education community, joins the Abdul Latif Jameel World Education Lab (J-WEL) as the newest member of the Higher Education Collaborative. Through collaboration, an international center in education and innovation to support Latvian higher education institutions will be established. The Center will promote educational excellence, the transfer of international best practice, digital transformation, and introduce reforms in Latvian higher education. The Center’s activities will be implemented by RBS in cooperation with MIT.

Innovation Academy

Innovation Academy is a pre-acceleration program of innovative, technologically intensive and globally ambitious projects. The process guides teams from totally early idea until the readiness of the projects to attract initial investments and prepare for rapid growth.

RBS is the first state institution of higher education in Latvia to be given the IQA (International Quality Assurance) award. We pursued and obtained CEEMAN (Central and Eastern European Management Development Association) IQA Accreditation because it mirrors our commitments to growth, development and rigorous quality. We are the only school in Latvia with its own MBA delivered in English to have international accreditation.

In December of 2001, the Republic of Latvia Ministry for Education and Science awarded Riga Technical University full and unlimited accreditation. The accreditation does not have an expiration date, thus reflecting the confidence of the Ministry.
This accreditation certifies Riga Technical University as an institution that can provide higher education and award state recognized degrees in Latvia.

RBS higher education programs have the highest possible accreditation awarded in Latvia which is renewed every 6 years. As of now, the Baltic IT Leadership program is accredited until December 2022, but all others – Bachelor of Business Administration, Masters of Business Administration, and Executive Masters of Business Administration – are until May 2027.
