Riga Business School (RBS) has opened applications for its annual Greenhouse program – an intensive three-week experience designed for high school students who want to develop their business and technology skills, explore the RBS study environment, and try their hand at real-world projects. The program will take place from January 17 to February 7, 2026, and participation is free of charge.

Greenhouse is an introductory program in which high school students experience the RBS bachelor-level study approach – practical learning, teamwork, and working on challenges provided by companies. During the program, students attend lectures, take part in workshops, and collaborate with professionals from leading Latvian companies.

Greenhouse isn’t a daily, full-time schedule – and it’s not held only on campus. The program runs just a few days per week and mostly online, making it easy to balance with school while still gaining a powerful, hands-on learning experience.

The program offers both professional and personal benefits:

  • Experience working on real company tasks, learning to work in teams and present solutions.
  • Networking with RBS students, lecturers, industry representatives, and mentors.
  • Opportunities to receive scholarships and tuition fee discounts, including the chance to compete for 100% or 20% tuition waivers for bachelor studies.
  • Additional admission points – Greenhouse graduates receive 1.5 extra points when applying for studies at RBS.

Greenhouse has proven its value in numbers as well – last year, 71 participants completed the Program, working on challenges together with partners such as Tieto, Luminor, KPMG, and others.

Greenhouse 2025 graduate and tuition waiver recipient Katrīna Kassaliete emphasizes: “The Greenhouse program is an exciting and opportunity-filled project during which I had the chance to develop critical thinking by solving a real-life problem, as well as learn more about successful companies and their areas of specialization.” K. Kassaliete also chose RBS as her path for further studies.
