The purpose of this course is to increase students’ understanding of the impact of HRM in an organization and the underlying principles of effective HR support in achieving an organization’s strategic goals.
The course’s specific objectives are as follows: to develop students’ knowledge of key HRM functions and underlying theoretical concepts; to improve students’ analytical skills in relation to the implementation of HRM practices within various organizations; and to build a general understanding of strategic and operational HR processes, such as planning, selection, managing performance, motivating and rewarding, training, and developing employees.
