Mārtiņš Dvinskis
BBA Alumnus
Strategy Lead & Marketing Manager @Unilever
What are your success habits?
Not taking myself too seriously, and being in situations that remind me how little I know after all.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
Set objectives and key results not just in business, but for your own life and for things that you want to experience and live.
What are you most proud of?
Being a person, who somehow manages to have a positive impact on people around.
What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
That I have recorded a rap song, and still don’t know the alphabet, whoops.
What have you always wanted to try, but have never found the time to actually do it?
This one ain’t legal. Next.
What is your current challenge or goal?
Besides some rather typical skills improvement process, the ability to recognize how the unconscious mind impacts my choices and turn it into a conscious event, is probably the biggest current goal/challenge that I hope to improve on.
What are your hobbies or activities to relax?
Learning new stuff, writing poetry, checking reddit, doing yoga, playing poker, watching stand-up comedy, reading philosophy, being in nature and going on youtube rabbit holes.
How do you push through your worst times?
When shit happens, embracing it as a character-building experience and reminding myself that we all are in an endless universe (debatable) on a spinning thing called planet Earth, and I have a chance to build and lead my life as I wish, everything else is just temporary noise.
