The mission of Riga Business School at Riga Technical University is to provide a modern and international education for leaders in a technology-based world. Riga Business School is located in Riga, Latvia, but provides studies for both local and foreign students. Riga Business School provides two bachelor programs in Business Administration and IT Leadership, a Professional MBA and Executive MBA, and Executive Education as well as coordinates several innovative educational programs with international partners.

Student service and study process expert (for MBA and Executive MBA programs)

(Full-time, permanent position)

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. To provide a positive experience for both prospective and current students.
  2. To support students in academic and administrative matters; make recommendations and resolve student issues.
  3. To ensure communication with prospective students to facilitate their commencement of studies.
  4. To provide technical support to faculty during the study period.
  5. To provide necessary support to students during their studies.
  6. To participate in the evaluation of the quality of programs and courses by providing feedback from student evaluations.
  7. To follow up on the KPIs set for the programs and, together with the Program Lead and the Marketing Project Manager, initiate the necessary actions to achieve the objectives.
  8. To support the Program Lead in the daily management of the study process: support in planning course offerings, support in the preparation and defense of master’s theses, evaluation of the study experience, organization of practical work defenses, preparation for graduation, organization of interviews for new students, planning and coordination of the admissions committee, coordination of study contracts, coordination of student admissions events.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CANDIDATE:

  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written in English and Latvian;
  • Higher education;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Precision and a high sense of responsibility;
  • Ability to make decisions within one’s area of competence;
  • Good skills in using Microsoft and Google applications.
