Investment Management
This course provides students with a general understanding of the operation of capital markets and basic analytical tools of investment management. Specifically, the course covers such topics as principles of valuation, risk analysis, modern portfolio theory, DCF valuation models, market microstructure, index models, company fundamental analysis using AI, bonds and common stocks valuation, derivatives and their valuation, efficient market hypotheses, and investment portfolio management. Students get experience in making real-life investment and trading decisions using Interactive Brokers StudentTradingLab®.
