In the latest Eduniversal Business School Reputation Ranking, Riga Business School as a department of Riga Technical University and RTU Faculty of Engineering, Economics and Management have received the highest ranking in Latvia. In the global ranking of the most prestigious business schools, RBS has been placed in the league of four palm branches. The high ranking symbolizes excellent academic excellence, outstanding quality of education, and a strong international impact in business and management education and research. The maximum possible rating is five palm branches.

Riga Business School’s Director, Inese Muzikante, is pleased with the high rating. It is a testament to RBS’ ability to combine tradition and innovation while remaining competitive. We aim to create future business leaders who can adapt to a rapidly changing global environment.”

“RTU’s international recognition confirms that our forge of knowledge is on a steady path to excellence in business studies. We have proved that RTU academic structures not only offer the best business and management studies in Latvia but also stand out against the background of global business education,” Jānis Caune, Dean of RTU IEVF, expresses his satisfaction with the double success of the university.

“The Eduniversal ranking, which includes the world’s top 1000 most prestigious business schools, is based on international accreditation, global rankings, and membership criteria of academic or professional associations. It is noteworthy that RTU has received the four palm branches rating in the Eduniversal ranking for the eighth year in a row and the highest deans’ vote in Latvia for the second year in a row. RTU is thus strengthening its position in the international education market, confirming the steadily increasing quality of its study and research programs.

“RTU’s performance is not limited to statistical success in the rankings. It results from the systematic development of our staff and young researchers in academic activities, the promotion of innovation, and close cooperation with industry partners and the labor market.” These efforts ensure competitive education opportunities for students and contribute to the development of the Latvian economy and science as a whole, says the Dean.

The Eduniversal Business Schools Ranking annually ranks 1000 of the world’s higher education institutions providing business and management education. The ranking assesses the reputation of business schools through an international vote of rectors and deans of faculties. The determining criteria are international accreditation, inclusion in global rankings, and membership in academic or professional associations. The Four Palms League includes 200 business schools with excellent rankings and a significant international impact on academic staff and alumni.

RBS was founded in 1991 as a collaboration between RTU, the University at Buffalo (USA), and the University of Ottawa (Canada).
