On August 26, 2024, Riga Business School launched its Orientation Week (O-Week) for first-year students, marking the beginning of an exciting journey into academic life. The week-long event, running from August 26 to August 30, 2024, serves as an essential introduction to the next three to four years at Riga Business School (RBS). Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to engage with RBS alumni, the Student Union, faculty members, and staff, all of whom will share crucial information to support them during their studies.
A highlight of the opening day was the continuation of a cherished tradition, “Meet the Neighbors,” now in its third year. This event provided first-year students with a unique opportunity to connect with influential figures and receive valuable advice and encouragement for the academic year ahead.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Raivis Kronbergs, Director of the State Chancellery, for personally welcoming the students and to Parliamentary Secretary Dace Melbārde for the insightful visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where key priorities of the Ministry were highlighted. Additionally, we are thankful to Minister Anda Čakša for the warm wishes extended at the Ministry of Education and Science, and to Ingmārs Pūķis, LMT Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, for the supportive welcome.
These experiences not only created lasting memories for our first-year students but also underscored the importance of building meaningful connections that will serve them well in the future.
