The program’s goal is to assist high school students (aged 14 to 19) in preparing for living in an English-speaking environment and undergraduate studies in English – here in Latvia or abroad.
Our friendly, supportive, and qualified teachers will help you develop all of your language skills, with a focus on advanced vocabulary, discussion skills, reasoning, and academic writing. Students will do mini projects focused on one topic or issue that they study, discuss, and present as they move through the course’s themed modules. This course also includes preparation for the IELTS test.
By activating English in a university setting, we will inspire students to get ready for their future studies and for life at a university. Students will improve their pronunciation and vocabulary through coaching by an award-winning AI-based application.

Before the studies, all students take a placement test to determine their initial level and to be placed in groups with other students of similar level. The test is followed by an interview with a member of the English Language Center Faculty. Tests and interviews take place online.
